Messy Church
Jonah’s Messy Olympics
Hello Everyone!
Messy Church at St Mark’s would have met on Friday 17th July. Here is a Messy Church@home session for this month.
For this Messy Church@home we are using the prepared resources from Messy Church.org on the theme: Jonah’s Messy Olympics
You will be able to follow the session sheet with activity ideas and ideas for the celebration. There are two versions of the story of Jonah which you can watch and you can also read it in the Bible in the book of Jonah.
Please follow the links here for two choices of story video.
The Story of Jonah
VeggieTales version, (story starts at 4.07 mins)
Sing and dance along to ‘Every move I make’
You might like to say the Messy Grace together and do the actions:
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (Hold out your hands as if expecting a present)
And the love of God (Put your hands on your heart)
And the fellowship of the Holy Spirit (Hold hands)
Be with us all now and forever. Amen (Raise hands together on the word ‘Amen’ and shout loudly!)
Thank you for joining us for Messy Church @home. We’d love to see some of your creations and hear your comments so please share them with us. You can email me, Nicky, at smg.children@gmail.com or upload them as a comment on the Messy Church @StMark’s Facebook page.
If you missed last month's Messy Church you can still join in here
We hope that you have enjoyed this month’s Messy Church @home. Of course this does not replace being able to meet together and we look forward to the time when we can be Messy Church together again.
Sending love and prayers to everyone,
